Our client, a leading fine dining restaurant in Kuwait, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join their culinary team. As an integral part of the kitchen, the Chef de Partie will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries, chocolates, and cakes that delight customers.
To be considered for this role, a bachelor’s degree is required, and the candidate must possess extensive knowledge of food and recipe costing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in pastry and be adept at training and developing skills within the team. Passion, commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team are essential qualities.
As a Chef de Partie, you will demonstrate creativity and proficiency in menu creation, ensuring that each dessert offering is of the highest quality and meets the restaurant’s standards. Good communication skills are important, and applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English. It is mandatory to provide pictures of previously created cakes as part of the application process.
Our client provides a comprehensive benefits package, including free duty meals, accommodation, transportation, medical coverage, and a joining ticket. Working hours are 8 hours per day, 6 days a week, and the initial contract period is 2 years.
