Applying for Post of SAP consultant / SAP implementor

Dear Mr.

I am Krishan Harsha Thilakarathne, profession as an Engineer with more than 10 year’s career experience and additional over 3 year’s industrial experience in automotive, manufacturing sector.

Currently I am working as Mold management senior engineer in Michelin co-operate office – Sri lanka with the responsibility of SAP maintenance sustainability in all tire plants including Vietnam. Before that, 5 years as Senior Mechanical Engineer– Molds by managing largest solid tire mold operation facility in Sri Lanka. (SME role (Subject matter expert) in BPO). Also, I worked over 3 years as Quality assurance engineer in Kramski Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Flintec transducers (Pvt) Ltd.

Here are my key performing areas/achievements as a profession,

• Sound practice of Engineering/QMS processes, tools in manufacturing environment.
(ERP tools (SAP, IQS), Machining processes, CMMS, PPAP, process FMEA, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, SPC, QMS internal Auditing, supplier auditing, etc) (BEng (Hons) in mechanical engineering)
• Sound knowledge about the new technologies, such like ERP/SAP measuring software’s, & techniques like Lean concepts (SMED), Six sigma, Cleaner production, 5S etc. (Post graduate qualification in business management & Ad. Dip. manufacturing management)
• Knowledge of pneumatic tire and solid tire mold engineering
• Sound maintenance knowledge of vehicle maintenance in various industries.
• Maintained the protean career development by having the knowledge & performance on quality assurance, maintenance of manufacturing environment.
• Overseas work experience (Conduct training in India, Supplier audit at China & Taiwan)

I followed the postgraduate diploma of business management at NSBM – Sri Lanka and completed the BEng (Hons) – Mechanical Engineering, De-Montfort University – UK. Before that, completed the diploma in Manufacturing Management at NIBM – Sri Lanka, National diploma in Engineering Sciences at Institute of Engineering Technology – Sri Lanka & followed several technical programs at reputed institutes.
