I have a special degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Kelaniya.
Similarly, I’m a dedicated program officer/coordinator with almost two years of experience working at Resilience Research Training and Consulting Sri Lanka and Shanthi Maargam. I’m committed and enthusiastic about projects and has the determination and ability to monitor and coordinate the projects. I have successfully managed and completed CORRECT-19 AHA project, Y-FORB project and Care2Share project implemented by Resilience RTC. And also I have excelled in organizing youth groups and sticking to a given budget, as well as building and maintaining relationships among community leaders. Passionately I work with diversified youth leaders and volunteers to lead projects to success with event planning, capacity building, motivation, supervision and evaluation. Therefore, I believe that I’m a good candidate for this position.
Alternatively, I demonstrated to the full in achieving personal goals and team goals, playing Karate with holding National Ranking no 1 athlete as well as South Asian silver medalist for Sri Lanka, University of Kelaniya, and JKA-Sri Lanka Branch and winning the champion title in individual events and championships for the team representing. During training cycle, exhibited high levels of physical and mental resilience in overcoming injuries. Leading the team to victory with team preparation, motivation, tactical analysis and assessment of opposition to formulate a winning strategy. I firmly believe that I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate for this position.
