Personal Statement
I am excited to be presented with the opportunity to apply for the position of Construction Manager with your reputed company. I also am happy to be considered for a position with an organization that is well recognized in the industry.
I possess an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University in United Kingdom (2nd Class Upper). Additionally, I Have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and 2 Diplomas in AutoCAD. I have been developing my skills and experience at several construction companies, including my current employer, Susil Builders (CIDA C4 in building construction & CIDA EM4 In Electrical & Mechanical Services) Since 2011. All my exposure to day-to-day construction work is mentioned in my curriculum Vitae.
In my experience as a Construction Manager, I have learned to prioritize work in order to avoid missing deadlines. This includes the proper planning and organizing of all aspects of the construction process, both on and off-site, including working with architects, engineers, contractors and general laborers, carrying out civil engineering tasks and preparation of interim payments along with many other documents. I pride myself on my attention to detail and accuracy as well as flexibility with schedules when unforeseen issues occur. I have received supervisory praise and recognition for the optimal level of teamwork that I create among all levels of workers involved in the construction process, which is essential in ensuring that each contract will be carried out with the highest quality of work and completed on time.

Responsibilities held :- 1 Effectively handling several ongoing projects at the same time. 2 Preparation of Bidding documents, tendering works, Handeling of FIDIC & SBD 3 Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, milestones, specifications and budget. 4 Preparing contracts ,negotiating and coordinating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. 5 Preparing and submitting construction project interim valuations, budget estimates, variations, cash flows, Construction Programmes, Method statements Various Claims, Progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients. 6 Regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track. 7 Conducting site visits to inspect work, check materials and ensure staff are following health and safety guidelines. 8 Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required. 9 Directing the purchase of building materials according to specifications. 10 Day to day document handling (Daily Progress reports, weather reports, Updating construction Programme & HSE documents). 11 Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents (Construction drawings, specifications, method statements & etc. ) supplied by the client 12 Preparing Bar Bending Schedules, Supervising & carrying out Quality of the Formwork, Concrete works, Electrical and Plumbing works. 13 Set out, level, Take measurements and survey the site Using Dumpy level. 14 Gathering data and carrying out technical surveys and site reports . 15 Quality assurance of Work materials & work done behalf of contractor. 16 Preparation of shop drawings, Detailed drawings and other sketches using AutoCAD.
