Presently I’m employed under Ministry of Health Sri Lanka as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluations Officer in Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank financial aided Health System Enhancement Project. Prior to that I had worked in several projects in both Government and the private sector hence I would like to give a brief introduction about my professional career over the past period of time.

I graduated in Bachelor of Engineering Telecommunications and have gathered around 7 years of experience. Over the past period of time, I had been employed in both the Private and Government sectors. In the beginning of my career, I joined with Daimei Slk (Sub Contractor- Sri Lanka Telecom) as a Technical Officer, where I handled Telecommunications projects in different suburbs of Colombo district. After that I joined as an Electronic Engineer in Civil & Structural Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd and I worked in two major high-rise projects which are Lotus Tower and The One (Ritz Carlton & JW Marriot). There I managed the Site Inspections, Design review and instructions provided to the contractor, Project Coordination, Document Control and Assisting to the Senior Design Manager. After that I joined with the Government service as a Telecommunications Officer-Grade II, in Telecommunications Regulatory Commission where I Coordinated three major services (Low power devices/Data services and Citizen Band). There I got the opportunity to carryout extensive work related to grating TRC approvals for the imported communication devices through Department of Imports/Exports Control & Customs of Sri Lanka. Few months back I resigned from Urban Development Authority serving as the Project Monitoring Officer in Engineering Design and Construction of Sethsiripaya Stage-III project and then joined with the Ministry of Health.
After graduating from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore, India I obtained the Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) in 2015. Throughout my career I have proven to have good analytical skills, leadership skills, efficient and time management skills, completing the tasks with strict deadlines and responsible individual having good command in English and Computer/IT literacy.
