I have worked on many projects in the role of a quantity surveying. The following are some of the highlights I have experienced in my career: attached to government water supply 03 projects in Sri Lanka. Among the responsibilities I held in these projects. Taking off quantities and preparation of interim payment applications, preparation and handling of variations, daily progress monitoring and reporting, cost management and reporting, involvement in tendering activities, project budgeting according to the scope, material forecasting and reconciliation, preparation of monthly progress report, preparation of rate breakdowns and calling supplier’s quotations. As well as reviewing project drawings and specifications, preparing cost estimates, preparing proposals and schedules.
