I hold the BTECH engineering degree in Electronic and Communication and the Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering as well. And also I am an Associate Member of Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) and Engineering Council of Sri Lanka.
I have a strong technical background and possess over 18 years of all-around experience in the fields of electrical, electronic and related industrial applications such as installation and maintenance of electrical LV power distribution systems, ELV, AV, control systems and all kinds of security systems.
One of my goals is to keep up a value to the knowledge and experience I have gained so far in the field of Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, by engaging in a profession in a country that has developed in a state of the art.

Involved professional audio/visual broadcasting, handling, operation, installation, and maintenance duties with regards digital AV studio complex. Carried out duties with regards to installations, monitoring and maintenance of entire electronic, electrical power applications of the channel. Attended to duties regarding planning, coordinating, supervision and managing of engineering division of ITN. Maintained the fully auto-mated audio file server based local area network. Attended to duties to keep smooth operation of transmission network and maintained quality output level. Covered live outside broadcasts and carried out operational, maintenance duties and emergency breakdowns in studio complex and Main Control Room.
Supervise all engineering staff, scheduling staff assignments and providing leadership in all aspects. Carry out the installation, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining works of electrical and control systems such as industrial electrical power distribution systems, DBs, solar energy conversions systems, energy storage systems, UPS, power generators, HVAC systems and commercial and domestic type appliances. Perform the designing, installation, repairing and maintaining duties of the projects in terms of ELV engineering such as CCTV surveillance systems, home security systems, A V / P A systems, PABX, IT/networking, fire detection systems, MATV systems, access control systems and all kind of security systems. Design such systems by considering international guidelines and standards and involve in installation and preventive maintenance works of them for build-up team work among subordinate staff. Coordinated effectively with other project participant of facility management, who involve with the project externally, by providing assistance and technical support. Improved engineering processes and directed projects to meet the key performance indicators in order to diminish bottlenecks by carrying out technical training for all project team members. Maintained all relevant legal & regulatory requirements of the staff and certified the safety of the technical staff by adopting safety management. Implemented the projects by analyzing them to enhance the efficiency and reduce the costs. Prepare technical documents such as project proposals, estimates, quotations, cost reports, BOQ, specifications and layouts/plans by using appropriate computer software. Promoted the business to elevate the technological services by participating for technical exhibitions and performing presentation to introduce contemporary product on competitive platform.
