Post of Civil Engineer

I’m writing to apply for the post of Civil Engineer. I have more than twelve years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry and out of that I have more than six years of experience as an Asst. District Engineer in the Sri Lanka Railway Department. My professional expertise aligns closely with the responsibilities outlined in your job advertisement.
In my role as an Asst. District Engineer for Sri Lanka Railway Department, I proved to be an efficient, enthusiastic, and
strong Engineering Leadership. I have more than six years of experience in construction of Railway stations, Other
Buildings, Station Platforms, In-Situ box culverts, Underpasses, Railway Track, Embankments and other related Infrastructures in Sri Lanka Railways.
I have six and half years of experience as a Supervisory Manager (Bridges) and I have experience for fabrication of steel Bridges, launching works and other related works. Also I have experience in steel bridge maintenance works (Sand blasting, painting, riveting, bridge member replacing works…etc.).
Also I have Project Management experience in handling Construction Projects in the Railway Department during the past twelve years of service period.
I have worked as an Engineering Asst. in the National Water Supply and Drainage Board for a one year of period. In the project period I have experience Rotary Drilled Piling works, Secant Piling works, Underground pump house construction works and related engineering works.
I have one-year experience as a Trainee Engineer in three different Engineering companies. I gained the experience of High Rise Building Projects and Bridge Construction Project. I experienced Rebar works, Formworks, Finishing works, Waterproofing works…etc. during that period.
My time spent in this industry has prepared me for such an opportunity, and I sincerely hope that I can contribute soon as a member of your team.
