shipping to keep up to date with the latest methods and technologies. I am available to carry out my tasks in
client support, optimize systems and processes throughout the office, and feel I would be able to gain
corporate knowledge and improve my skills.
I am graduated with Professional Diploma Shipping Management from Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College (CINEC) and have worked as an Operation Executive in Smart Marine Lanka (Sri Lanka) for 3 years, which is an NVOCC agent for Smart Marine Group (India). Equipment inventory management, Monitoring inland depot/Terminal empty operations, Reposition and transshipment operation, Managing empty idling and
availability of equipment for RO, Monitoring DO Empty returns, and Reporting the principle on a weekly and
monthly basis are some of the co-activities in my career. In addition, I am familiar with crew change operations
and documentation in OPL and Terminal. With solid experience for more than 2 years in challenging
environments in Shipping, I am inclined to take a bigger commitment in my carrier with your company while
giving my best.

Work & Experience
-Manage container return to Local yards/Terminal pool stock, maintain inventory and update shipping portal. -Coordinate with the sales team and maintain equipment fleet for process bookings. -Monitor the process of releasing containers to Release Orders (RO) and follow up with the CS team to ensure accuracy. -Liaise with overseas agents & RO/HO for equipment demand and arrange empty repositioning. -Documentation, and Coordinate with inland depot/Terminal/Custom to process empty reposition operations. -Monitor Transshipment operations, Export booking and efficiently utilize lost slots with MT Repositioning under dead freight and other slot freight terms and pass PHC, ITT, freight, and yard handling and storage invoices to the accounts team. -Liaise with other line agents for On-hire and Off-hire processes of equipment as guided by RO/HO. -Follow up with Consignee for long idling/Custom detain containers and process as to SOP. -Handling container damage inquiries and managing container deposit accounts and reports to the accounts team. -Weekly/monthly reporting to the RO/HO.
