KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitor routinely and analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer Systems and take necessary preventive actions so that the availability of the systems will not Be affected. • Study and propose new technologies in view of enhancing the operational efficiency or Security into existing data center environment. • Perform routine audits of Windows Operating environments and take corrective actions in Case of any mismatch or lack of updates of patches or any violation of the IT policy by users. Perform System Level Backups. • Apply Operating System Update, Patches, and configuration changes. • Install and configure new Hardware and Software. • Add, Remove or Update User Account Information, Reset Passwords and Maintain User Information. • Answer the Technical Queries and Assist users and other technical staff of IT Department. • Maintain the comprehensive documentation of the configuration of the systems primarily Considering the aspects of server arrangements for various applications, including physical Locations, physical disk arrangements, and logical disk arrangements. • Responsible for system performance tuning Maintain the adequate hardware to be used as backups so that the Downtimes are minimum, • Manage the virus guard and make sure that all the systems are updated and scanned regularly for viruses. • Manage computer hardware and maintenance related services level agreement. • Attend to any other function that may be assigned to you from time to time by the Head of the Department on operational and strategic changes / requirements that need to be met / fulfilled. Position Reports To: Administratively & Functionally to CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER ICT Key Relationship: Employees of ICT Department, Interdepartmental Employees of the Organization, Suppliers and Services Provide. Main Objective of the Role: Assure the smooth he functioning of all the IT Systems managed by ICT Department and to make sure high availability in an acceptable manner to all internal and external Customers.
