•Responsible for the timely accurate quantity take-off (Using PlanSwift & Autodesk Revit). •Preparing the Interim payment applications of work in progress and materials on site with complete substantiations. •Inform and drive engineering priorities based on cost impact. •Preparation all variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omission, and incorporation of the same with the monthly cost reports. •Managing cost impact / contingency management and commitment tracking logs. •Reviewing subcontractor pricing and leading negotiations on behalf of the consultant/client to drive fair contract prices. •Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner. •Provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration or any other forms of dispute resolution. •Management of subcontract accounts including interrogation, procurement, payments, variations and final accounts. •Preparation of all subcontracts to meet the company standards. •Ensures all subcontractor commercial issues are resolved and payments are timely and correct. •Provide key information across the contract team. •Ensure prompt and regular submission of main contract payment applications and ensure that subcontractor payments are dealt with fairly and in accordance with subcontract terms. •Ensure payment is made within both WIP and cash targets. •Managing a team and provide continuous development. •Preparation of Extension of Time claims and Loss and Expense submissions •Provides support, assistance and advice on all aspects of quantity surveying activities, covering measurement, certification and payments. •Managing projects from start to finish, including planning work activities, scheduling labor, monitoring progress, estimating costs, and preparing reports. •Advise the departments on post Contract amendments, variations &procurement to meet time, quality and cost requirements on projects. •Review Tender / Contract Documents, in conjunction with Group legal, evaluate project risks, support tendering team in Bid Preparation, negotiate and agree Contract clauses prior to execution of Contracts.
Post Contract Taking off quantity – Structural, Architectural, Interior Design, Landscaping, Infrastructure & MEP Works – Using PlanSwift Application & Auto Cad Measure and value the work done on site. Preparing monthly valuation / Interim Payment. Preparing Variations. Evaluating, verifying & re measuring subcontractor payment. Preparing BOQ & comparison sheet for provisional sum items. Preparing daily process report. Preparing Prolongation Cost. Preparing rates break down according to manpower, equipment & material requirements. Preparing contractual letters as per the condition of contracts & FIDIC Clause (1999 Red Book) Updating log sheets for Subcontractor payments, variations, material on site, provisional sum items & LC payments. Pre-Contract Review and study of tender specifications, drawings, BOQ, and condition of contract. Conduct site inspection for tender understanding, assessment of risk and identification of activities that may or may not be shown in tender documents. Responsible for the timely accurate quantity take-off (Using PlanSwift & Auto Cad) and review drawings, specifications, BOQ, Tender addendum/clarifications and other documents as deemed necessary.
