I am currently working as the Operations Manager for the Earl’s Court Group of Hotels, Sri Lanka. I have been offered this position as and when I landed in Sri Lanka after completing the FIFA project in Qatar, which was a short term contract from Accor Hospitality as Duty Manager.
Along with my Degree in Hospitality Management and 10 years experience in the front office operations as an Assistant Front Office Manager/Duty Manager, I am eager to contribute to your front line operation.
Since I have been working in the front office operation for over a decade holding executive positions, I have the capability to lead quality initiatives that define my workplace as a unique luxury experience. My ability to seamlessly integrate guest relations initiatives with the operational departments, and to ensure that each guest is treated like a star, has been the reason for my constant promotions in the past. I am comfortable with handling all aspects of VIP guest management and have the capacity to interact with guests to understand their needs and deliver exceptional services.
I am very observant and pay attention to what is going on around me. I have the skills to recognize a potential problem and the ability to take steps to handle it before it becomes a major issue.
I have excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills. I have the ability to deal with unhappy customers or unusual situations when they arise in a professional manner without becoming stressed or upset. I also understand the importance of treating customers with respect and creating a friendly and welcoming environment, so I made sure that all my team members provided excellent guest service.
