As a Civil Engineer with more than eleven years of experience, I have handled many small-scale to large-scale projects, including the design, construction, and maintenance of roads, bridges, and Buildings. I have strong project management skills and I pay great attention to detail.
I have a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and also, I am a Chartered Engineer with corporate membership at IESL, Sri Lanka. In my previous roles as a Civil Engineer, I was primarily involved to implement the construction works of infrastructure projects with varying degrees of complexity and budgets ranging from $10M to $80M.
My project management skills have been commended during the majority of these projects as I always take charge of the planning, execution, management, control, and closure of the projects. I also planned and managed the construction of a major infrastructure project as a Project Manager and worked to complete the project on time and under budget while minimizing the environmental and safety impact.
