During my two-year experience as a junior construction estimator, I have participated in the Colombo-North Non-Revenue Water Project with Sri Lankan Waterboard, Keels Logistics Island Warehouse Concrete Works, and 13 residential projects.
During my two years of experience, these were my primary duties.
● estimating the costs of materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects
● Financial forecasting, cost reporting, and cost monitoring
● Prepare a list of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
● Construction projects are managed and coordinated, and construction progress is prepared.
● Preparation and administration of interim valuations, contractors’ claims, and settlement of final accounts
● Taking off measurements of DPR (Daily Progress Reports) for fitting valves, pipelines, and flow meters
● Estimating and updating daily costs and income
During my experience, I gained a lot of skills working as a junior construction estimator. construction costing, residential building estimation skills, AutoCAD, communicating, team management, etc.
