I have been working in the construction industry for more than 07 years. My experience includes all types and sizes from small residential to large international commercial projects. I have worked on projects ranging from $1 million to $40 million. My experience includes ADB funded projects & Saudi funded construction projects in Sri Lanka. My experience has given me a unique insight into the challenges facing the construction industry. I have extensive experience in how to manage safety, quality, budget and schedule on projects as well as how to communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors and subcontractors to successfully complete projects.

I previously worked as a Civil Engineer with Maga Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and I have successfully completed a 62 km road project in Polonnaruwa District, Sri Lanka. It was largest foreign-funded (ADB-funded) project in Sri Lanka. As a Civil Engineer, I have supervised and carried out all construction works including Bridge & Culvert construction works. ADB is highly concern about the safety, social and environmental aspects of the project. I have successfully achieved the project goals by fulfilling the requirements of the Asian Development Bank. I was highly appreciated by the project consultant (RDC) and the client (Road Development Authority, Sri Lanka) for the way I managed the project. I have worked in a similar capacity as mention in above for sierra construction (Pvt) Ltd as a Site Engineer on ADB funded road construction project in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka.

In my latest experience as Construction Engineer (Consultant) with Egis International, a France-based international project management consulting firm. I have gained experience in meeting global project challenges through efficient use of practices and technologies. I have contributed my best to complete the project and now it is in final stage. I prepared the project program/progress and coordinated with the contractor and employer to complete the project properly and on time. I supervised all construction activities against technical plans and drawings to assess compliance. I have followed all safety & environmental aspects and QA/QC procedure to achieve the project goal. I have evaluated all construction drawings and Cost/EOT claims. I have checked the measurements and certified the Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) submitted by the contractor.
