Private Label Products launching activities of the Cargill’s Group (Around LKR.32 billion Turn over in 2007/2008) came under my preview, while reporting to Director –Strategic Planning. (Have launch about 30 home care and personal care products with FMCG food products as well)• Co-ordinate the suppliers, Identify the consumer behavior, carry out market research and involve with package design to launch the Private Label products in the modern trade market.• Preparation of project proposal, marketing plans and marketing communication plans to implement the new projects with in organization.• Development of complex financial models to ascertain the feasibility (financial profitability) of the new products launching projects.

Initial set up of the plant (Project investment of LKR.40 million 1999/2000) with technical collaboration of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and after, Production planning and operation management related function of the super critical fluid extraction plant (Food grade Essential oil extraction plant - SCFE) came under my preview, with reporting function to Project Manager.• Maintenance of plant and machinery (manufacturing process, chiller system, cooling tower system and boilers system etc…) under total productive maintenance schedule.• Act as the coordinator between production and marketing section and involve with work study functions to stream line the operation process of the plant.• Implementation of 5S, HACCP, and Lean manufacturing technologies in production process and the factory operation environment. • Involve with the implementation of ISO quality management system and carrying out ISO audit on monthly and annual basis.
