I firmly believe that my education. skillset, intensive training, and extensive experience make me a suitable candidate for this vacancy, I am certified as an Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. I also hold professional memberships at the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

As a friendly, genuine, confident, and committed individual who is interested in continuous professional development, I have dedicated more than 3 years of experience to working with various industrial institutions as an Electrical Engineer and Process Engineer. This allows me to learn and develop all the duties fulfilled by the Maintenance Manager. This has resulted in professional competency in all operational and technical aspects of the job role. I firmly believe I have a broad knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and civil engineering which makes me a better person for the position.

Employed with Contrinex Ceylon as a Process Engineer, I have demonstrated my problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure as I could reduce the scrap rate of the Contrinex 700 series induction sensor from 20% to 5.8% within 3 months and improve the efficiency by 10%.

Then I joined the Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC as the Electrical Engineer of the Horana Factory, There I was privileged to handle all the Electrical and Mechatronics Engineering aspects of the biggest ceramic manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka. My responsibilities varied throughout the commissioning, maintenance, installation, and testing of highly sophisticated electrical systems and machinery. In addition, I was relied upon to manage vendors and execute projects and maintenance strategies within a budget.

Ensuring that all activities complied with quality standards and examining the installation of numerous electrical equipment, I have been able to successfully identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues.

Furthermore, I have gained extensive exposure to leading teams and training members such that their competencies are in-line with the needs of the organization. I have functional knowledge of all electrical legislation, codes, and standards of practice, and have gained expertise in the use of industry-specific tools and applications. I am a confident and excellent team member as well as a good leader and I can handle pressure very well. I am excellent in English as well as can speak Urdu and Hindi, this allows me to communicate with the team better and get the work done in no time.
