I, after completing the basic course in Food & Beverage at Swiss Lanka Hotel School in 2001, I joined the Induruwa Beach Hotel (under Reef Developments (Pvt) Ltd) as a Waiter and worked there for four years (2004 to 2008).
Moving forward, I worked attached to the Gulf Catering Service (GCS) in Iraq for one year and thereafter at SATCO in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for two years as a Steward.
At present also I am working as a steward under Tourism Development Authority in Sri Lanka.
Altogether, locally and internationally, I have almost 20 years of experience as a steward.
The Hotel and Hospitality fields have many job opportunities.
Also, I am very keen and interested in this field. Due to the fact, I am working attached to Hotel / Hospitality unto date.
However, since I have experienced middle east countries, I am interested to work in other parts of the world.
